Terms of Service

Effective July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Pixlburst, LLC (“fdbck,” “we,” “us”), a Delaware limited liability company, governing your use of the fdbck website, dashboard, embeddable widget, feedback API, public board, and worker (the “Service”). By creating an account, installing the worker, embedding the widget, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

1. The Service

fdbck collects feedback from your application, triages it, and coordinates code fixes that run on your own machine via the fdbck worker, using your own AI subscription and your own GitHub credentials. fdbck stores no AI-provider keys and never accesses your source code; see our Privacy Policy. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time.

2. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for your account, your credentials, and all activity under it, including the security of the machine you run the worker on and the git and gh credentials it uses.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at legal@fdbck.app.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Review before you merge. The worker opens pull requests; you are responsible for reviewing every change before it is merged, and for your repository's branch protection and CI.
  • Your users' data. If you embed the widget or use the API to collect feedback from your own end users, you are the controller of that data. You are responsible for providing any legally required notice to and obtaining any required consent from those end users, and for having a lawful basis to collect it. fdbck processes that feedback only on your behalf and under your instructions.
  • Your AI usage. Triage and fixes run on your machine under your own AI-provider account; you are responsible for complying with that provider's terms and any usage limits.
  • Your content. You are responsible for the repositories you connect and the code that is merged into them.

4. Auto-merge & automated changes

By default, fdbck opens draft or standard pull requests for you to review; nothing merges without you. If you enable auto-merge, you expressly accept that changes meeting the confidence and severity thresholds you configure may be merged into your default branch without manual review. You accept full responsibility for those changes, you can disable auto-merge at any time, and you should keep branch protection and CI in place as a safeguard. Automated fixes are generated by AI and may be incorrect, incomplete, or introduce bugs or security issues — treat them as untrusted drafts, not vetted code.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone to:

  • Use the Service to submit, generate, publish, or merge content or code you don't have the right to, or that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious.
  • Submit feedback, board content, or code intended to attack, deceive, or manipulate the Service, another user, or an AI agent (including prompt-injection or attempts to exfiltrate data).
  • Abuse, overload, rate-limit-evade, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or another tenant's data.
  • Use the Service in violation of GitHub's, your AI provider's, or any other applicable terms or laws.

We may investigate and take action — including removing content, rate-limiting, or suspending or terminating accounts — for any violation, or to protect the Service and its users.

6. The public board

If you enable the public board, you control which items are published and the public title shown for each. You are responsible for the content you publish and for ensuring it does not disclose another person's personal or confidential information. Anonymous votes are best-effort and provided without warranty of accuracy. We may remove board content that violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

  • Ours. The Service, including the fdbck software, dashboard, widget, and brand, is owned by Pixlburst, LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and to embed the widget on applications you operate, subject to these Terms.
  • Yours. You retain all rights to your repositories, your code, and the feedback your users submit to you. You grant us the limited rights necessary to operate the Service — e.g. to store, process, route, and display that data to you and (where you publish it) on your board.
  • Feedback to us. If you send us suggestions about fdbck itself, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties you choose to connect — including GitHub and your AI provider. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them. You are responsible for maintaining your own accounts and credentials with them.

9. Fees

Portions of the Service are currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or change pricing in the future; if we do, we will make the terms of any paid plan available before you incur a charge, and continued use of a paid feature will be subject to those terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY AI-GENERATED TRIAGE, CLASSIFICATION, OR CODE FIX WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE. YOU USE THE SERVICE, AND ANY AUTOMATED CHANGES TO YOUR CODE, AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXLBURST, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR CODE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY CHANGE MERGED INTO YOUR REPOSITORIES, WHETHER BY YOU, BY AUTO-MERGE, OR OTHERWISE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Pixlburst, LLC from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content or code, your collection of feedback from your end users, changes merged into your repositories, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your license to use the Service ends and we will delete or anonymize your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of- laws rules. Except for a claim you may bring in small-claims court, you and Pixlburst, LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute, and each party waives any objection to venue there. You agree to first contact us at legal@fdbck.app to try to resolve any dispute informally before filing a claim.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
